From July 7 to 11, 2025, the EPS-HEP 2025 took place at the Palais du Pharo in the heart of Marseille – the largest European conference on high-energy physics. Researchers from around the world gathered to present and discuss recent results and developments in particle physics, astroparticle physics, accelerator physics, detector development, and scientific computing. The scientific program featured high-profile plenary talks, numerous parallel sessions, and a diverse poster session.

The ETP was represented by six participants, Prof. Ulrich Husemann, Dr. XunWu Zuo, Aritra Bal, Ralf Schmieder, Sofia Giappichini and Dorian Guthmann, and contributed actively to the conference program with several posters, scientific talks, and one plenary presentation. The ETP contributions ranged from muon calibrations for the CMS detector, measurements of couplings of the Higgs boson to other bosons at CMS and talks on various discovery possibilities at the FCC-ee, to a review of the European strategy in the field of computing and instrumentation.

In beautiful weather and the impressive setting of the historic conference venue, EPS-HEP 2025 offered not only excellent scientific contributions but also many opportunities for exchange and networking within the international research community.
